AA is short form for Anand Ayyappan. Who is Anand Ayyappan ?
Its me who writes this stuff and more in my own ways. I am a resident of the state of Kerala in India. I was born in Thiruvananthapuram the state capital of the state on 21-12-1981. Still single and lives with my parents, sis and bro - in - law.
Got into the world of Web in the year 2000 by getting a mail id for myself don’t remember the funny username for the same it was in yahoo. It was in year 2002 that actual adventure with web started. I was an active member of a student organisation. I was given the task of getting a website done for the kerala state unit of the organisation. I caught up with one of my friends who was into this task for many years and he is my guru in web. His name is Naveen Naushad. I stayed with few hours a day for a couple of weeks to get this project done. During the process of building the website he taught me how to use DW and basic features of the same.
After the completion of above said project I started to learn more about DW its features mainly using pdf based tutorials available. I was able to learn quite a few things very fast and was able to make steps into asp on my own thanks to www - every thing can be learned from this. The first asp page i created was a simple contact us form for the site built by Naveen. Its function was to collect data and send to an email id.
My learning process was accelerated when my father bought the PC to our home in 2003. After the entry of PC the learning curve started going up and up. The learning happened mainly using references from we and all those tutorials available online.
Next phase was getting used to database based web systems. First choice was ASP Access. Only because i knew asp and DW was doing wonders for me. I think i had to search atleast a month ore more to get the database connection (Due to poor googling skill then. Now its better atleast I think so). Then came setting up cookies you won’t believe it also took around one month. This is the time i learned the importance of ; = % etc. Time went on and I become good code maker at least for the people i know.
Then came in the starvation for doing something more. It was the time when more and more people started talking about ASP.net. I was about to start learning that I got attracted to PHP Mysql in purticular and Open Source in general. The starter kit for the same was provided by Mr. Sony a dear friend and college mate of my Sis. He send me a CD (Which i still have) which had three words written on it Apache PHP MySQL. Yes and these three words is virtually in every day of my life after receiving the same.
